About My Clients
My clients include people dealing with Depression, Anxiety and other mood disorders; HIV and other Chronic Illness; Childhood Trauma; Gender and Sexual Identity Issues; and Substance Abuse.
My Background and Approach
I strive to create a warm, inviting and judgement free space for my clients to share their issues and concerns. Together we explore how you came to be who you are today and evaluate where you want to be in your life going forward. Therapy is a process of self-discovery and my role is to be a knowledgable and compassionate guide. I help to build insight by actively listening and sharing observations and tools to promote self-awareness and improved coping skills.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the power of therapy to help people heal and grow. Life comes with many challenges and giving yourself the space to open up and be vulnerable with a therapist can help you to navigate these challenges with the support and guidance you need.
