About My Clients
You deserve a space that is just for you-- to feel seen, heard and supported. Maybe you are starting a new job and feeling imposter syndrome, adjusting to being a new parent and feeling overwhelmed, or feeling stuck and anxious and not sure why. I am here to guide and support you in identifying and expressing your feelings, setting goals, and strengthening the skills you need to manage big emotions and changes.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is person-centered, meaning I believe that you are the expert on your own life. I am here to guide and support you so that whatever you are carrying, you do not need to carry it alone. As your therapist I am always collaborate, supportive, and honest. I feel passionate about helping people set better boundaries, ask for help, and prioritize themselves. I work with folks who identify as the “helper” the “giver” "the perfectionist" the "one who holds it together' for others, and those juggling the mental load of motherhood or parenthood. It is my passion to help you find time and energy for you and your own wellness. When you leave therapy you will feel ease, balance, peace, joy, and hope.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am committed to social and racial justice, and I approach all of my work from an anti-racist, trauma informed, feminist lens. I am an LGBTQIA alley and BLM supporter. I continue to do my own work, and acknowledge that I will always have more to learn.
