About My Clients
Over the past 5 years I have worked with predominantly children, with ages ranging by from 3-21. I have worked with a variety of needs and concerns, including behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, life shifts, identity, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. I also have experience working with adults with similar concerns, family dynamics, and identity. I am currently part of the clinical team at Serenity Life Counseling Services in Rochester NY.
My Background and Approach
In the midst of trying to figure out our lives, something that holds true to me is the phrase "if it serves you, you can use it; if not, let it go." This is how I approach my therapy practice. I am an Art Therapist but also trained in approaches such as DBT, Solution-Focused, Trauma-Informed Care, Person-Centered Therapy, and more. I do not use the same approach for everyone, as not everyone is the same. I am open to working with you to find what works best for you and go on this journey together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy does not have to be as tense as it is made out to be. While the work may be heavy and at times, very difficult, I still take an approach to begin and end with you hopefully feeling your best in the moment.
