I've worked with children for almost a decade across various identities. As a school counselor by trade, most of my days are filled with teens who are needing more support. I recognized a critical need for support for this age group and decided to start my own practice. I have worked with children on various issues from anxiety to depression with suicidal ideation.

Many of the students I see every day come in with anxiety and since the pandemic, anxiety has become almost ubiquitous amongst high schoolers. I work with teens to help them navigate their feelings and put tools in their toolbox so they can identify their feelings and have the coping mechanisms to address them.

Depression is one of the most common issues I see with teens every day. Depressions in this age group can come in many forms, from losing interest in the things they used to love to experiencing suicidal ideation. I know how to address the entire spectrum of depression and have experience helping teens find coping mechanisms as well as bringing in support systems to keep kids safe.

I offer a space in which you'll be accepted for exactly who you are, offering empathy and support.

It's easy to get caught up in whatever struggles you are facing. The story we tell about ourselves is that something like anxiety or depression are integral parts of who we are. I strive to separate the person from the strife they are dealing with. You have the power to tell your own story. I'll help you break down your story into manageable chapters, discover the choices you can make, and put the struggles in front of you, rather than within you.
