About My Clients
My clients often feel they haven't found a therapist who truly gets their life — their struggles, relationships, sexuality, or something they haven't felt comfortable sharing with others yet. I work with individuals and couples, with expertise in working with LGBTQ+, ENM, and kink communities. I also focus on working with men navigating emotional, relational and sexual challenges, approaching difficult issues with compassion and care.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in NY, NJ, and CO, and hold an MSW from Columbia University. I am a Certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist and have served as a teaching assistant for the IFS Institute — IFS is at the core of how I work, inviting curiosity toward the parts of yourself that feel stuck or hard to face, rather than pathologizing them. I also draw on CBT, psychodynamic theory, and relational approaches depending on what each client needs. I meet you where you are and trust that you are the greatest expert on your own experience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe identity is something we discover over a lifetime, not something fixed. I don't shy away from complexity — grey areas, uncertainty, shame, harm, or the parts of yourself you're not sure how to talk about yet. Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade across business, government, and nonprofit work, which shapes how I think about systems, context, and change. I bring that same curiosity to the therapy room: about who you are, what shaped you, and where you want to go.
