About My Clients
Everyone struggles and has difficulties in life; however, we all experience them differently. By putting the focus on your thoughts and feelings, I am able to offer person-centered treatment. This approach helps build a foundation of understanding and acceptance that can lead to lasting change and growth. I have a decade-plus history of helping individuals experiencing issues ranging from social anxiety to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
My Background and Approach
Due to my clinical interests, I have received a Post-Masters certificate in Trauma Studies from Chestnut Hill College and underwent clinical supervision in Psychodynamic Therapy. Furthermore, I obtained a certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction techniques and have taken several courses in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Therapy should be a collaborative process. It begins when individuals feel understood and supported. I am genuine when working with patients, blending my natural curiosity with honesty, humor, and humility. Therapy can sometimes feel daunting; therefore, my person-centered approach allows me to connect with people wherever they are in their journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal beliefs are an integral part of my approach to psychotherapy. By incorporating my Jewish heritage, a strong commitment to social justice, and my belief in feminist therapy, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for my patients to explore their innermost thoughts and feelings. My dedication to learning and growing as a therapist ensures that I can provide the highest quality care to those who seek my help.
