About My Clients
I love working with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, and relationship challenges. My ideal clients are curious and open to exploring the deeper parts of themselves. Using IFS and somatic EMDR, I help clients reconnect with their authentic selves, heal past wounds, and create meaningful change. I welcome people from all walks of life seeking growth and deeper connection.
My Background and Approach
As a marriage and family therapist with a rich and varied life background, I bring warmth, curiosity, and real-world perspective to my work. I’m Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and am trained in Somatic & Attachment Focused EMDR (S.A.F.E), which helps clients heal deep emotional wounds and build self-compassion. My experience as a woodworker, writer, editor, and business owner allows me to connect with people from all walks of life. I enjoy supporting individuals, couples, and families facing anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, and relationship challenges. I offer a safe, empathetic space to help clients explore, grow, and create meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe deeply in the power of authentic connection — with ourselves and each other — as a foundation for healing and growth. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and support creating safe, inclusive spaces where all identities are welcomed and celebrated. My own journey has included 12-Step work, which informs my compassion for those in recovery and navigating life transitions. I value curiosity, openness, and creativity, and draw on my background as a business owner and artisan to remain grounded and present. Outside of therapy, I enjoy time with my family, tending to our farm, and supporting causes that nurture community and mental health.
