About My Clients
The people I work with are usually doing well by most measures—productive, competent, often high-achieving. But they often feel stuck in the same patterns. Most of my clients are high-masking neurodivergent ADHD, AuDHD, autistic traits. That matters because the standard advice hasn't worked for them.
My Background and Approach
Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. IFS Level 1 trained through the IFS Institute. Certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider. I've worked with neurodivergent adults since 2018 and have ADHD and autistic traits myself. The approach is IFS-first. That means working with the parts running the pattern — the one that procrastinates, the one that people-pleases, the one that goes quiet when things get hard — rather than trying to override them with insight or willpower. These configurations developed for real reasons, in response to real conditions. The goal isn't to eliminate them. It's to build a different relationship with them so they're not running the show. On top of that: executive function scaffolding built around how a neurodivergent nervous system actually activates. Interest, novelty, challenge, urgency. Not importance and good intentions. Telehealth only. 60-minute sessions. Aetna in-network; superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. HSA/FSA accepted.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I work from the neurodivergent paradigm, not the pathology paradigm. The neurology isn't the problem. The shame and anxiety that developed around it often are.
