About My Clients
Do you feel lost? Like you are perpetually feeling like there is no ground underneath you? Have you felt this after the passing of an individual, the loss of a job, or the end of a relationship? What about experiencing something traumatic that has shaken you to your core? Grief and loss, and experiencing traumatic events, can leave you in a state of limbo. In the session, we can explore these feelings, reprocess, and redefine what you experienced. I look forward to supporting you!
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, my goal is to create a welcoming, safe, and reflective space by meeting you where you are. Together, we’ll co-create an environment that supports your growth. Each session is a step toward where you want to be, and it’s my privilege to hold space for that journey. Before my current role, I worked in crisis services as both a clinician and a clinical case manager. I’ve supported survivors of domestic violence, refugees, asylum seekers, and individuals facing trauma, anxiety, and hopelessness. These experiences inform my commitment to meet clients with compassion and curiosity. I use evidence-based approaches, including parts work, mindfulness, somatic therapy, person-centered therapy, and psychodynamic techniques. I am currently seeking training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, and continuing my training in parts work to further support healing. I am currently a contract therapist at Higher Sights Counseling.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Mental health is a journey we’re all navigating in our own way. Along the path, we may encounter recurring thoughts, emotions, or patterns that feel familiar or challenging. But each time they arise, we meet them from a slightly different place within ourselves, one shaped by growth, experience, and resilience. And in that shift, there’s an opportunity for healing and transformation.
