About My Clients

My clients seek healing, healthy paths to overcome distress, disconnection and loneliness to build meaningful, fulfilling experiences with themselves and with others. I see individuals, couples and moresomes seeking relief from conflict and hurt; they seek belonging, understanding and empowerment. My therapy helps clients know their worth, their needs, and feel empowered to name them and get them met, alone and with others. My clients emerge with more enriching, fulfilling relationships.

My Background and Approach

I believe when we can all heal our traumas and Traumas, we can connect to each other in sustaining, fulfilling ways to make our lives easier and more peaceful. I work from an Attachment lens, teaching Communication skills, fostering Conflict Resolution strategies, and the mastery of Compassionate Communication. I am trained as a Sex Therapist, committed to supporting my clients' needs for meaningful and fulfilling sexual experiences. I'm trained in supporting those in the BDSM community and those incorporating non-monogamy into their lives. My work is sex-positive, non-shaming and non-pathologizing. I am committed to helping those with out of control sexual behaviors (previously called sex addiction) to heal themselves and their relationships.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Most importantly perhaps, my work is informed by an ever-developing Anti-Racist, Anti-Mysoginist, Anti-Queerphobia, Anti-Oppression framework. I am committed to the pursuit of justice, healing in the world, and the fall of the patriarchy in all its facets. I believe I have a responsibility as a cis-white male raised as a heterosexual, to help cis-hetero men understand the ways they've been duped and blinded by the patriarchy, the consequences of this on the relationships and the world around them, and help them learn how to dismantle it from the inside, from within themselves, and within their relationships and communities.
