About My Clients
I best serve adults navigating anxiety, depression, family and developmental trauma, identity concerns, and relationship challenges. My ideal clients are thoughtful, self-aware individuals who feel stuck by past experiences, family dynamics, or life transitions and want deeper insight, emotional healing, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others in a supportive, non-judgmental space.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) trained in evidence-based, trauma-informed care. I bring years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, identity concerns, relationship challenges, and family trauma with compassion and clarity. I spent two years supporting adolescents through intensive behavioral health work and seeing firsthand how trauma shapes patterns and relationships, deepening my ability to help adults heal from their past. My strengths lie in creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients feel understood and empowered. By blending empathetic support with practical tools, I help clients gain insight, build emotional regulation skills, and make lasting changes that foster healthier connections and greater self-trust in everyday life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as a progressive therapist who believes that therapy is inherently political. Our mental health does not exist in a vacuum—it is shaped by systems of power, access, and oppression. I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and am deeply committed to providing affirming care for queer and trans clients. I support immigrants and immigrant rights, recognize the ongoing impact of racism and systemic inequality, and stand with the Black Lives Matter movement. I believe access to healthcare is a human right, including mental health care. My values align with the majority of Democratic policies that seek to promote equity, inclusion, and social justice. In therapy, I welcome conversations about identity, culture, power, and lived experience, and I strive to create a space where clients—especially those from marginalized communities—feel seen, respected, and empowered to heal and grow.
