About My Clients
With each new year, we learn more about the important effects intimate relationships, interpersonal connections, and existential satisfaction have upon our wellness. Fulfilling connections with family, friends, and our communities often lead to improved health, happiness, and longevity. For these reasons, I specialize in helping individuals and couples improve the quality of their relationships, tackle mental health challenges, and explore key issues in order to forge a sense of serenity.
My Background and Approach
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and aims to provide practical information and specific strategies for each person's unique challenges and problems. Life is a series of obstacles and though a little teamwork, resolution can be found. Whether you are dealing with relationship distress, anxiety, life transition, grief and loss, depression, emotional turmoil, behavior concerns, ADHD, or trauma, we can work collaboratively to address the issues and challenges that cause hardship.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people have the ability to create a tremendous amount of positive change in their lives. Often, mental health issues persist because people have unhealthy learned behaviors and habits of mind that they have picked up along their journey. Though careful work, we can find different ways to build a life of serenity, meaning connections to others, and satisfaction with yourself. It is a privilege to be in this line of work as I hold steadfast to the notion that compassion, love, and empathy are the most precious resources in world. As a therapist, I get to help others spend and receive this important gift.
