About My Clients
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and high-functioning, but privately struggling with anxiety, burnout, relationship issues, low self-worth, creative blocks, or the feeling that they’ve drifted away from themselves. I also work with couples who are tired of having the same fight in different forms and want a more honest, connected, and supportive relationship.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist based in California with training in depth psychology, attachment-based therapy, somatic approaches, and couples work. I received my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I focused on depth-oriented psychotherapy, and I’ve completed Levels 1 and 2 training in PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy). My work is influenced by Jungian psychology, parts work, attachment theory, and mindfulness-based and somatic approaches. In practice, that means we don’t just talk about problems intellectually—we pay attention to patterns as they unfold in real time, including emotions, relationships, protective strategies, and the wisdom of the body. Therapy with me tends to be conversational, engaged, and experiential. I’ll support and challenge you with warmth and honesty, and together we’ll work toward helping you feel more connected to yourself, your relationships, and the life you want to build.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are capable of profound change when they feel safe enough to be honest—with themselves and with others. I see therapy not simply as symptom reduction, but as a process of becoming more fully yourself and building a life that feels meaningful, connected, and alive. Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years living a creative life — making music and working as a voiceover artist. Creativity and the arts continue to deeply inform how I understand healing, identity, and the human experience. I’m especially interested in relationships, men’s work, depth psychology, spirituality, creative process, and the ways people reclaim lost or disowned parts of themselves. I strive to create a space that is warm, collaborative, nonjudgmental, and welcoming to people of diverse identities, backgrounds, and life experiences.
