About My Clients
Something feels off, and you're figuring out what to do about it. That's usually where we start. My approach is rooted in somatic therapy, where we explore what "it" feels like and what that feeling is trying to say. I help people understand different parts of themselves and their relationship to the world. Together we build on the strengths that helped you make it this far, and trim unhelpful old patterns. I know you're the expert on your own life and believe in you becoming your best self. As
My Background and Approach
My journey started with my own therapy. I found I loved learning about myself and others, which led me to study psychology in undergrad. I later worked in inpatient mental health settings for a couple of years, until the people I worked with encouraged me to get licensed and practice as a therapist myself. I chose to specialize in somatic therapy, because I believe our physical bodies hold so much information. Is your body a safe place to be, or does it feel like an uncomfortable space that doesn't quite match who you are? Let's explore that together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a person-centered, somatic therapist who proudly supports and works with LGBTQIA+ folx. As a practitioner grounded in body-based healing, I believe our physical selves carry stories our minds haven't always had words for, and that everyone deserves a therapeutic space where their identity, in all its complexity, is not just accepted but affirmed. I'm committed to creating a practice that feels genuinely safe for queer and trans clients navigating identity, relationships, family dynamics, and the everyday experience of moving through a world that doesn't always make room for who they are. Whether you're just beginning to explore your identity or have been living authentically for years, I want my practice to be a space where you don't have to explain or justify yourself, you can simply be.
