About My Clients
I work with individuals who feel that anxiety and/or depression are preventing them from living a meaningful life. Rather than trying to get rid of unwanted emotions, we will focus on learning to accept them as part of our natural process of overcoming.
My Background and Approach
I use a client-centered approach that draws from several different treatment models. It's also worth mentioning that I believe very strongly in the physical effects the mind can have on the body and vice versa. Maintaining an awareness of this is a central part of my conversations with people.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a clinical social worker, I place a strong emphasis on how our environment, and the people and structures within them, directly impact how we experience things.
