About My Clients
I work with adults healing from complex trauma, especially those from marginalized and underserved communities. Many of my clients have felt silenced or unseen. Using IFS and EMDR, I provide a safe, affirming space to process trauma, reduce anxiety and depression, and reconnect with resilience and self-worth.
My Background and Approach
I bring over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, having served as an Outpatient Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, and Clinical Director. I have extensive training in complex trauma and dissociative disorders, and I continue to receive ongoing consultation to ensure the best care for my clients. I am a Certified EMDR therapist and have completed Advanced Internal Family Systems (IFS) training through the IFS Institute.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone deserves access to healing, no matter their background or circumstances. I care deeply about creating a safe and affirming space, especially for people from marginalized communities, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and immigrant populations. Many of my clients have felt silenced or unseen, and I strive to offer therapy where their voices are valued and respected. Equity, compassion, and gratitude are values that guide both my life and my practice. I also believe in the importance of continual growth — I seek ongoing consultation and training so I can bring the best possible care to my clients. Outside of my clinical work, I value time with family, being outdoors, and staying grounded through connection with community.
