About My Clients
I work best with neurodivergent individuals (ADHD, autism) and those navigating life transitions, identity, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, stuck, or overwhelmed by your inner voice, this space is for you. Together, we build tools for growth, self-understanding, and lasting change in a supportive, collaborative environment. I also integrate mindfulness, values-based work, and (if desired) faith or spirituality.
My Background and Approach
My background includes training at Western Michigan University, where I gained experience working with individuals with developmental and behavioral differences, as well as in both individual and group counseling settings. These experiences deepened my appreciation for how different areas of life—emotional, relational, and environmental—shape each person’s story. As a neurodivergent clinician, I bring both professional knowledge and lived understanding into the therapeutic space. My approach is integrative, drawing from CBT, DBT, ACT, and person-centered and humanistic therapies. I also incorporate mindfulness, and when desired, faith-based or spiritual perspectives. I aim to create a collaborative, affirming environment where you feel safe, heard, and empowered to explore your identity, build practical tools, and move toward meaningful, lasting growth. I strive to meet you where you are while gently supporting you toward where you want to be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value authenticity, inclusivity, and creating spaces where people feel genuinely seen and accepted. As a neurodivergent individual, I strongly support neurodiversity-affirming care and believe in honoring each person’s unique way of thinking and experiencing the world. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and strive to provide a safe, respectful space for individuals of all identities and backgrounds. I also value the role of mindfulness, self-compassion, and (when meaningful to you) spirituality or faith in the healing process. I believe growth happens when we feel safe enough to be honest with ourselves. My goal is to walk alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and encouragement as you navigate your journey.
