My Background and Approach
I strive to create a safe space that facilitates trust, openness, reflection, and the courage to achieve personal growth. I use methods such as trauma-focused, Adlerian, and humanistic, and all therapeutic approaches are tailored to each client’s needs. It can be difficult making the first step in starting counseling. By taking an interest in the possibility of counseling, you are already halfway there. It’s okay to have questions or not know about services. I will meet you where you are on your journey, and we will work together on how to continue growth and healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I became a therapist because I am a true believer that everyone deserves the opportunity to heal and achieve their personal goals. My clients describe me as supportive, reliable, thought provoking, and funny. I take each characteristic with great value in counseling. My approach is that I like to find a balance between validating experiences, bringing awareness, and challenging clients for growth. We are the experts of our own experiences, and that must be valued in counseling. I will learn from you.
