About My Clients

My ideal clients are teens, adults, couples, and LGBTQ+ individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions. Many feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected and want practical tools and a supportive space to grow. I also work with clients seeking connection through groups, telehealth, or outdoor therapy.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Dianna Ham, LPC-S. I have a background in school counseling and experience supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families through anxiety, stress, identity development, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I specialize in helping clients feel more grounded, connected, and confident during times of change. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients build practical coping skills, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and take meaningful steps aligned with their values. My focus is on helping clients create sustainable change that fits their real lives. I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients and those seeking affirming, inclusive care. In addition to telehealth, I offer outdoor therapy sessions in natural settings and facilitate group therapy designed to build connection and support.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy works best when it is grounded in authenticity, safety, and genuine human connection. I value creating an affirming space where clients feel respected, accepted, and free to show up as their full selves without judgment. I approach my work with a strong commitment to inclusivity and culturally responsive care, especially for LGBTQ+ individuals and others who have historically been marginalized in mental health spaces. I also believe healing is not one-size-fits-all. People grow in different ways, and meaningful change often comes from small, values-aligned steps rather than pressure or perfection. I support clients in reconnecting with what matters most to them and building lives that feel more aligned and sustainable. Outside of traditional office settings, I am passionate about the healing potential of nature and connection, which is why I also offer outdoor therapy and group-based experiences that foster community and belonging.
