About My Clients
I work with clients seeking greater satisfaction, connection, and authenticity in their day to day life. It is my goal to create a welcoming, empathic, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your past and present, and make sense of the world you are participating in. Struggles with relationships, anxiety, depression, identity, and emotional regulation can present a barrier that I aim to help my clients overcome.
My Background and Approach
I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in LGBTQIA+ affirmative care at Antioch University, Los Angeles. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) - helping people with emotional dysregulation and BPD learn new coping mechanisms. I strongly believe that therapy should be a collaborative process, and I strive to work alongside my clients to develop personalized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs, goals, and beliefs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ I believe that every individual has the right to live authentically and with dignity, free from discrimination and oppression. Suffering from anxiety and depression as a child--I felt deeply connected to my internal world, which proved to be a deeply challenging and isolating experience. As a therapist, I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences, and work towards the healing and growth I know to be possible from my own experience.
