About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, behavioral concerns, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Many clients feel stuck or unsure how to express what they’re going through. I’m passionate about helping children and teens build coping skills, manage big emotions, and gain confidence. I also support adults facing stress, past trauma, and relationship challenges, creating a safe, welcoming space for growth.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas, supervised by Rhonda Septelka, M.A., LPC-S. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and have experience working with individuals impacted by trauma, including those navigating difficult life experiences, emotional challenges, and significant life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I utilize evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, while also incorporating play-based interventions when working with children. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. As a Navy veteran and a mother, I bring both professional training and real-life understanding into my work. I believe therapy should be practical, supportive, and growth-oriented—helping clients build effective coping skills, strengthen resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity in their daily lives
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens in a safe and supportive environment where you feel truly seen and heard. Everyone deserves a space where they can process their experiences without judgment. I value authenticity, growth, and resilience, and I strive to help my clients recognize their strengths while working through life’s challenges. My goal is to walk alongside you in your journey, helping you create meaningful and lasting change.
