My Background and Approach
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University. I obtained my Psy.D. from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington D.C., where I completed an internship with the Centerstone Consortium in the sexual assault and trauma services department. My training encompasses evidence-based techniques tailored to your specific needs with specialized training in TF-CBT, DBT, and CBT. My goal is to help you achieve your goals in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. Viewing individuals through a multicultural lens, I emphasizes the importance of understanding each person as a whole. Additionally, I offer comprehensive psychological assessments for diagnostic clarification and treatment.
