My Background and Approach
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, which means I utilize a variety of orientations and therapies, according to my client's individual needs. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Telehealth Counselor in both Massachusetts and Florida, I work with a variety of clients including children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. I enjoy working with clients that are aspiring towards making changes in their lives but may need assistance implementing these changes. In my experience I have established that cognitive restructuring is a compelling apparatus in assisting my clients overcome problematic patterns of thinking and moving in the direction of healthy and productive behavioral changes. I find that with the proper support and encouragement clients are able to uncover a sense of empowerment within themselves to work through their mental illnesses and emotional issues. I use several evidence-based treatment modalities.
