About My Clients
My goal is to help you grow and gain insight into yourself and your struggles while acquiring the tools you need to face these struggles, and new struggles, on your own. I enjoy working with individuals and families of many different cultural backgrounds, ages, sexual identities, and challenges (e.g., orgasmic issues, erectile issues, desire issues, sexual pain, fetish/kink negotiation, opening and/or closing relationships, sex work, BDSM, LGBTQ+ youth and their parents).
My Background and Approach
Together we will explore, learn, and process what works best for you. I have a knack for helping people identify how they approach their problems and the underlying processes that keep them stuck in a place of emotional struggle. While in that “stuck” place, people have a really hard time making new choices overall Narrative approach, pulling from other modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and SFT (Solution Focused Therapy). I offer Christian or secular counseling and utilize a systemic therapy approach with an emphasis on family perspectives. At the core of my approach is empowering people to be and love their authentic self in a world that often shames and rejects anyone who falls outside the norm. I help with communication, play, pleasure, and boundaries. I believe in a collaborative approach and providing a safe, non-judgmental environment for clients to share their story from their perspective.
