About My Clients

Do you find you feel a sense of disconnection from others and the world? Do you long to tap into your innate ability to connect with people, nature, and oneself? I am here to offer a free-form space to get curious about what is going on for you. My passion and experience is working with folks who experience depression, bipolar disorder, and those who have experienced trauma. I find I tend to be a good fit for older teens and adults, existentialists, anti-capitalists, artists, and witch-y folk.

My Background and Approach

I view the experience of being a person as holistic, focusing on the embodied connections between the self, others, and the world we inhabit. My approach emphasizes our innate ability to heal through reconnecting with our felt experience of being a person. My work as a therapist is to walk alongside clients as they unwind oppressive expectations, systems, and internal patterns. My hope is to create a space together where you can cultivate a life that feels honoring of who you are at your core. Many of us have become disconnected from our bodies and the depth of information our bodies hold. In session I will help you to reconnect with the messages of your body via bringing awareness to the physical sensations of emotion. We'll get creative with how to identify what is already there via playing with language, images, and movement to catch sight of what you mean when you say words like "depressed" or "angry".

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I view the experience of being a person as holistic, focusing on the connections between the self, others, and the world at large. We human beings heal through connection with others and flourish when we feel empowered to be active in the meaning making we do throughout our lives. I believe that therapy is not a space to learn to conform to societal expectations, but rather to uncover how these expectations can become internalized and cause us deep distress. I am a white, cisgender, queer woman. My clinical practice is influenced by these identities as well as my love of storytelling, symbolism, music, comedy, and folklore.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
