About My Clients
Who is happy to meet with me? Folks from diverse and international backgrounds, people who identify as neurospicy and human beings going through life transitions, such as separation, divorce or menopause. People, who are tired of living with the effects of trauma and want to release the past, find our conversations useful. My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and tailored to each individual, offering a safe space to explore, process, and heal.
My Background and Approach
My specialties are many as I have been a full time therapist since 2003, walking alongside over 5000 clients. I have a Masters Degree from The College of NJ in Counseling and Psychotherapy, an honorary PhD from Universal Life Church in Metaphysics and a Diploma in Clinical Integrative Supervision from the IICP in Dublin, Ireland. I also have a Diploma in Sound Therapy from the Academy of Sound Healing in Cornwall, England. I have a Certificate in the Energy Therapy Technique from Dublin, Ireland. Beyond the alphabet soup of initials after my name, I am just as human as you are with lived experiences of trauma and narcissistic abuse, chronic pain, life transitions, menopause and experience with mediation and divorce. I am a former school counselor and teacher with an affinity for issues that teens face. On occasion, I meet with couples to increase communication and connection. I do what I love because I love what I do.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I wear my heart on my sleeve, especially for underdogs and the oppressed. I will bend over backwards to help people on the receiving end of social injustice of any kind. I'm an active member of the LGBTQIA+ community and you will see me marching alongside charities at several Pride parades. I also adore most animals: four legged, two legged, fins, fur or wings. I watch over and care for a colony of cats in my spare time. For relaxing fun, I enjoy dancing and swimming and laughing with friends.
