About My Clients
I work with adults and teens stuck in patterns shaped by trauma, stress, or shame. Anxiety, overthinking, emotional swings, or shutdown. Something keeps repeating. We focus on understanding what’s driving these patterns so you can respond differently in a way that holds. Providing online therapy across California. No in-person sessions. Free 15-minute consultation available. You can request a time directly through my scheduling link.
My Background and Approach
My background is in clinical psychology, human development, and trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care. I approach therapy through a safety-focused, phase-oriented lens, prioritizing nervous system regulation, stability, and trust before moving into deeper processing. My work is informed by neuroscience, attachment, and systems perspectives, including Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. I meet clients where they are and work collaboratively to understand the why behind patterns rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction. I emphasize grounding skills, coping strategies, and meaning-making so the work feels contained, ethical, and sustainable. I strive to create a nonjudgmental, steady space that supports insight, agency, and long-term change, while remaining attentive to cultural context, systemic factors, and each client’s unique strengths. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people make sense within the systems they have lived in. Our behaviors, coping strategies, and emotional responses are shaped not only by individual experiences, but also by family dynamics, culture, community, and broader social and systemic forces. Healing happens when these contexts are acknowledged with curiosity rather than judgment. I believe therapy works best when it balances compassion with accountability, insight with action, and safety with growth. My role is not to pathologize, rescue, or direct, but to support clients in understanding their patterns, strengthening their agency, and building stability within the realities of their lives. I value collaboration, cultural humility, and ethical care that honors both personal responsibility and systemic influence.
