About My Clients

You might be carrying trauma that shows up in your body, your relationships, or how anxiety runs your days. Maybe you're tired of masking or explaining yourself. I work with neurodivergent, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and polyamorous folks, and I'm sex-positive and nonjudgmental. I also welcome clients navigating court or legal involvement. Together we'll go at your pace, using EMDR and parts work to calm your nervous system, get to know your protective parts, and build a life that fits who you are.

My Background and Approach

I'm a Licensed Associate Counselor trained in EMDR, which helps your brain reprocess painful memories so they stop running the show. I also use parts work and attachment-based approaches, so we can understand the protective parts of you with curiosity instead of shame, and repair patterns that started long before you had a choice. Between sessions, DBT skills, mindfulness, and compassion-focused tools give you practical ways to steady yourself. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in case management for adults with serious mental illness, and I currently work in a forensic outpatient setting, so I understand complex systems and won't flinch at hard stories. I'm neurodivergent myself, which means I won't ask you to mask in session. We can adjust how sessions look to fit your sensory needs, communication style, and energy. My goal is to be steady, honest, and real with you while you do the work of healing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I'm a single mom who was raised by a single mom, and I'm proud to be a cycle breaker. I practice gentle parenting at home and bring that same patience into the therapy room. I have my own history with substance use and the legal system, so I know firsthand that people are more than their worst moments and that real change is possible. I'm an active member of the polyamorous community and affirm relationships of all shapes. I stand for Black Lives Matter, women's rights, and multiculturalism, and my work is informed by the disability community. I'm an atheist, and I welcome clients of every faith or none. Your beliefs are yours, and I'll respect them. Above all, I want you to know you can show up here as your whole self.
