About My Clients

My work is rooted in the belief that people don’t heal in relationship with a blank slate; they heal in a relationship with another human. As a queer therapist and lifelong nerd, I love D&D, fantasy, TV shows, and movies and enjoy working with clients who do too. I can integrate storytelling into therapy as a way to safely explore deeply rooted trauma when direct language feels inaccessible. Your whole self is welcome here.

My Background and Approach

ou may be living with anxiety, stress, or the lingering impact of trauma. You may also be navigating identity, relationships or life transitions while carrying a desire to be perceived, understood and accepted just as you are. You are seeking relief, clarity, and a connection to safety that doesn't look just like coping but connection to a way of feeling more grounded, in your body and at home in your life. I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, stress, identity exploration and relationship patterns through a compassionate, collaborative approach. Drawing from trauma-informed, relational, narrative and parts-based therapy, I help my clients build emotional safety, self-compassion, and define skills for navigating life with more confidence and connection.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a clinician who believes that bodies are not the problem, the systems that punish them are. I am opposed to fascism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, and fatphobia, and I bring that commitment into the room with me. I am queer and gender-fluid, and my heart lives close to the LGBTQIA+ and fat/plus-size communities. I practice from the belief that every body, in every size and shape, is worthy. The container does not determine the value of what it holds. I know what it is like to struggle in a world that demands people be smaller, quieter, and less visible. My response has always been: then I will be louder, and more proud. I aim to offer that same permission to the people I work with. My hope is that clients feel they have found someone who understands struggle, who will name injustice when it shows up, and who is committed to creating a space where you do not have to earn your right to exist.
