My Background and Approach

I bring a deep understanding of the challenges people face during life transitions, such as changes in relationships, career, or personal identity. I specialize in helping individuals build self-esteem, manage anxiety, and navigate parenting challenges with confidence and clarity. My approach is rooted in a combination of person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and culturally sensitive practices. I believe in creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and valued. Together, we explore your unique experiences and strengths, building on what works for you. I focus on empowering you to challenge negative patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create practical solutions that promote lasting change. Whether you’re dealing with overwhelming emotions, struggling with self-doubt, or simply looking for a fresh perspective, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Let’s work together to help you move forward with confidence.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in the power of self-acceptance, compassion, and growth. As a therapist, I strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone, regardless of background or identity, feels safe and valued. I’m passionate about supporting individuals through life’s transitions and helping them build resilience and confidence. I stand with causes that promote mental health awareness, racial equity, and inclusivity for all. I believe in the importance of embracing our unique identities and creating spaces where everyone can thrive. Outside of my work, I’m a breast cancer survivor and passionate advocate for women’s health. I value connection, authenticity, and kindness in all aspects of life. Volunteering and supporting my community are important to me, and I aim to bring that spirit of service and care into my work with clients. If you’re looking for a therapist who respects your individuality and is committed to supporting your growth, I’d love to work with you!
