About My Clients
Many people feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves. Clients come to me feeling weighed down by shame, self-doubt, or pressure to meet expectations. They want a space to be understood and to make sense of their experiences. Together, we explore identity, challenge unhelpful messages, and practice skills to manage emotions, build self-compassion, and strengthen confidence so they can move forward authentically.
My Background and Approach
I have experience supporting clients who struggle with shame, self-doubt, and the pressures of meeting expectations—both internal and societal. I take a relational, insight-focused approach, helping clients explore identity, uncover patterns, and connect present struggles to underlying beliefs. Together, we'll build practical strategies to regulate emotions, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and strengthen self-compassion and confidence. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQIA2S+ clients, though my work is relevant to anyone seeking understanding and relief from shame or internalized pressure. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with clarity, authenticity, and a stronger sense of self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves to be seen, understood, and valued for who they truly are. I am committed to creating a space that affirms my clients' identities and challenges the shame and internalized messages that society often imposes. I value self-compassion, curiosity, and authenticity, and I work to model these qualities in session. I support social justice causes, including advocacy for LGBTQIA2S+ rights and neurodiversity awareness/inclusion, and I believe that therapy should be a space where all parts of a person are welcomed and respected. I hope to create a space where you can feel empowered to explore your identity and move forward authentically.
