About My Clients
Do you feel constantly on edge, shut down, or exhausted from carrying so much for so long? Maybe you’re a teen trying to get through school while feeling unsafe being yourself, or an adult stuck in patterns shaped by earlier harm. I work with LGBTQ+ teens and adults who want steadier days, deeper self-trust, and real relief. Together, we build skills, restore a sense of safety, and create space for you to feel more like yourself again.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and somatic approaches. In our work together, we focus on creating space for healing, increasing awareness of patterns shaped by past experiences, deepening self-understanding, and developing strategies that can be used in everyday life. Sessions are collaborative and supportive, with an emphasis on reducing overwhelm, fostering resilience, and helping you move forward with greater confidence and agency.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe care, dignity, and belonging are foundational to well-being. My values are rooted in empathy, integrity, curiosity, and collaboration, and in the belief that healing does not happen in isolation. Community is essential to resistance—especially in the face of systems that cause harm, exclusion, or erasure. I support collective action and have participated in large-scale efforts with groups such as Indivisible, Tsuru for Solidarity, and direct support actions that center protection, care, and shared responsibility. I also believe joy and connection are not luxuries, but necessities. Spending time in the forest or at the ocean (especially in places where I can’t hear cars or the constant noise of everyday life) is essential to how I stay grounded and connected. These values guide my commitment to providing affirming, trauma-informed care that honors both individual experience and the broader systems we live within.
