As a transracially adopted Asian American myself, I have first hand experience in navigating the complexities that come when race, adoption, and attachment issues intersect.

I have experience supporting foster families through the process of fostering, supervised visitations with bio parents, reunification, and adoption. I've worked in partnership with CPS and CASA, making sure to help provide recommendations on what may benefit the family as each families' journey and needs are unique to them.

I have completed a course in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidenced-based modality designed to help children 3-18 years process traumatic events. I have also successfully completed the requirements of the TF-CBT consultation calls, which help me become a more effective therapist.

TF-CBT is an intervention most used in child advocacy centers to help children who have experienced trauma. It includes working on a trauma narrative to process the events of trauma.

Play has the incredible ability to aid children in their therapeutic journey, providing a way to process events that may be difficult for them to put into words.

All of my clinical experience is working with children in some capacity. I've worked with children in the school setting, office setting, and home setting. I can help children process trauma, self-esteem, peer relationships, anger management, and grief/loss.
