My ideal clients are teens and adults who seem “fine” on the outside but feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck inside. Many have trauma or chronic stress (family conflict/separation or unstable relationships) and struggle with anxiety, anger, self-doubt, trust, identity, or emotional regulation. My Background and Approach
I meet clients where they are—with empathy, patience, and curiosity. I support individuals experiencing stress from self-expectations, relational pressures, and emotional intensity, guiding them toward self-awareness, emotion regulation, and healthy boundaries. I blend CBT to address thought patterns, DBT for emotion regulation and interpersonal skills, mindfulness for grounding, and person-centered reflection to foster insight and self-compassion, often paired with behavioral strategies to boost engagement. My background in mental health, trauma-informed care, and child welfare allows me to advocate for clients, connect them to resources, and help them feel seen and supported. I earned my M.S.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. John’s University and a B.A. in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude, from The City College of New York.
