About My Clients
My clients are typically navigating the challenges of life. These may include relationships, fertility concerns, pregnancy loss, postpartum, menopause, grief, parenting, family, work stress, or the pressure of managing too many roles. I offer a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you, build on your strengths and find ways to move forward with greater clarity, confidence and a stronger sense of yourself.
My Background and Approach
With over 30 years of experience as a licensed clinician, I have had the privilege of helping people navigate some of life’s most difficult and meaningful moments. My experience allows me to draw from a broad range of approaches while tailoring therapy to you as an individual. I have learned that effective therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I draw from extensive training and evidence-based approaches to meet your unique needs, experiences and what you hope to change. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical strategies for the challenges you’re facing now, and build skills you can continue to use long after therapy ends. We may explore how past experiences influence the way you think, feel and respond today, while also focusing on what can help you feel better in the present. I'll help you recognize your strengths and assist you in gaining skills to navigate difficult emotions and experiences with greater confidence and hope.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are more than the difficult things that have happened to them and that we all have the capacity for growth and change. I believe our experiences shape us, but they do not have to define us. Sometimes the ways we learned to cope were exactly what we needed at one point in our lives, even when those same patterns no longer serve us today. I also believe there is no measuring stick for struggle. What feels difficult to you matters, regardless of how it might compare to someone else’s experience. You don’t need a diagnosis, a crisis or a “big enough” problem to benefit from therapy. Most importantly, I believe people deserve to be heard without judgment. Therapy can provide the space to understand your story, recognize your strengths and decide what you want the next part of that story to look like. Change is possible at any stage of life, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
