About My Clients
I specialize in helping people in all kinds of relationships, parent-child, family relationships or romantic relationships. I work with children, adolescents and teens ages 3 and up who are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma or behavioral issues.
My Background and Approach
I am in the process of becoming a Registered Play Therapist and am Level One Gottman certified. I am currently obtaining my Play Therapy Certificate through MidAmerica Nazarene University and will complete it in August 2024. Having experience in the hospital, school, and private practice has given me the experience and empathy needed to see clients from all backgrounds and walks of life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Life in today’s world can be challenging. However, I have confidence that people can grow and change. I am very interested in how the brain works in relation to the body when it comes to stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I incorporate neurobiology into my work with all my clients and has seen that yield the best results.
