I am a therapist who has been in therapy. I started working with a therapist as a young teenager and have worked with professionals to overcome hardships and transitions throughout my adult life. I believe that my time spent with each of my counselors is
invaluable and has shaped my professional identity.
Since completing my master’s level course work I have worked as a therapist for families and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, served as a team member caring for children in the Arizona Department of Child Services system, worked as an individual, couples, and family therapist, taught educational and supportive groups,
advocated for seriously mentally ill individuals, worked as a therapist at a 24 hour walk in crisis center, and answered calls to the national suicide hotline. Each of these roles has contributed to my overall mission of helping clients achieve stability and wellness, not only for themselves, but so they can support others.
