About My Clients
I am honored to walk with each of my clients on their journey to finding happiness and health. While I am able to treat a wide variety of issues, my focus is working with those struggling with perfectionism, co-dependency, and the healing process for adult children of addicts/alcoholics. I also work with those who are childfree by choice and seeking sterilization.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in exploring family interactions to address patterns of behavior affecting my clients' relationships. My primary therapeutic models include Human Experiential Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy which both focus on validating and healing our core self-identity. I have experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of personal and relational concerns. As shared by my favorite writer Brene Brown, “The last thing we need in the midst of our struggles is shame for being human.”
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, along with supporting my own close loved ones who are a part of the community. I do my best to learn about and honor the beliefs and values of diverse communities in the area.
