I work with trans and non-binary people who are exploring where they fit in the world. My approach is to meet people where they are at, while recognizing their personal and societal struggles. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore their gender identity. My goal is to be a guide on this journey.

I work with couples and partnered people to work on the issues they have in their relationships. Issues such as trust, communication, and sexual desires are common problems that exist in many relationships and I help people navigate their way through. My job is to help people meet their relationship goals and build a secure, loving relationship with their partner.

I work with many different types of sexual problems, from feeling shame about sexual desire, sexual dysfunction, desire discrepancy, and out of control sexual behaviors. As a therapist, my job is to help people feel comfortable with a very vulnerable part of themselves. I teach skills or offer an approach for people to view themselves in a more positive manner about this essential part of them.

I am trained in EMDR to help clients rewire how their brain processes an issue. Clients who have experienced a traumatic event or series of issues often have trouble releasing the issue as it gets “stuck” by the way the brain processed it. EMDR helps the clients reprocess the issue by using bilateral stimulation.

Often times people have been telling a story about themselves that isn’t completely accurate. Narrative therapy offers the person the opportunity to rewrite how they see themselves and their story by focusing on the positive aspects of their past. Narrative therapy offers a more positive lens in which the person learns to view themselves.
