About My Clients
Do you feel like you're fighting a constant battle just to feel okay? Maybe you're grappling with your self-worth, the impacts of trauma, anxiety, or your sense of self. Whatever the issue may be, when you're struggling with something, it can impact everything - but you don't have to do it alone. I specialize in working with folks who've experienced trauma, those who lack a sense of identity, and people of color navigating cultural/racial issues.
My Background and Approach
I obtained my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. I am currently supervised by Fred Washburn, Ph.D., LPC (CO), LMHC (WA), NCC, BC-TMHC. I want clients to feel heard without feeling like a "burden." I value supporting and uplifting others with warmth, patience, and understanding.. I place an emphasis on helping people cultivate self-compassion and self-acceptance. It is my hope to empower others to break free from the shame they feel in their suffering, to strengthen their resilience, and to trust themselves to effectively manage life's challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know this work can be hard and it takes commitment, but I believe growth and healing is possible when you keep showing up for yourself. That being said, a therapeutic relationship based on mutual trust and caring is essential for effective therapy. I encourage you to reach out and schedule a free consultation to determine if we'd be a good fit.
