About My Clients

Finding your place in a world that doesn't always “get it” can be challenging. Whether you're part of the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent, or from a marginalized background, society's expectations can sometimes also feel overwhelming, and simply exhausting. Seeking a safe space to explore these feelings and embrace your unique qualities without judgment is important. You deserve to write your own story, one filled with authenticity, belonging, and moments that go beyond day-to-day survival.

My Background and Approach

With a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chaminade University of Honolulu, I bring a person-centered, strengths-based, and culturally-sensitive approach to therapy. Together, we'll explore your experiences, identify your strengths, and develop strategies to navigate life's challenges. I'll provide a safe, judgment-free space where you can be your authentic self. I view therapy as a collaborative journey, tailoring my methods to meet your individual needs and goals. My personal experiences as a POC, along with being Queer and AuDHD, have enriched my perspective of the healing process and shape how I show up for my clients. No matter what you're struggling with, be it daily challenges or deeper emotional issues, your experiences are valid and worthy of compassionate support. I'm here to listen and walk alongside you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that healing happens best when we feel truly seen and understood in all our intersecting identities. From my own experience balancing the many aspects of who I am, I understand firsthand how transformative it can be to find spaces that honor our whole selves. Many of our struggles stem not from personal failings, but from trying to survive in systems and spaces that weren't designed for us. I'm deeply committed to social justice and believe therapy should be both personally empowering and collectively liberating. This means acknowledging how systemic oppression impacts our mental health while recognizing our inherent resilience and capacity for growth. Neurodiversity, like all forms of human diversity, enriches our world. Rather than viewing conditions like ADHD as disorders to be "fixed," I see them as natural variations in how our brains work, and I'm committed to helping clients discover the beauty in how they experience and navigate the world.
