About My Clients
We work with adults, teens, and children who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship stress, or feeling stuck. Many are high-functioning on the outside but overwhelmed internally. We also provide evaluations for ADHD, autism, and learning differences. Our clients are often thoughtful, capable people who want practical tools and deeper insight, not just surface-level coping strategies.
My Background and Approach
We are a group of licensed psychologists and therapists in Cary, NC providing evidence-based therapy and comprehensive psychological evaluations. Our approach is collaborative, direct, and grounded in research. We draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness-based strategies, and insight-oriented work when appropriate. In therapy, we balance validation with accountability. We focus on understanding patterns, building practical skills, and creating meaningful change. In testing, we provide clear, detailed feedback that helps clients understand their strengths, challenges, and next steps. Our goal is not only symptom reduction, but long-term growth and self-understanding.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We believe mental health care should be inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive. We welcome LGBTQ+ clients and provide care that respects diverse identities, relationships, and family structures. We recognize that race, culture, religion, and lived experience shape how people move through the world, and we approach this with humility and openness. We strive to create a practice that is accessible and accommodating, including ADA-accessible office space and thoughtful attention to individual needs. We value equity in mental health care and work to ensure that every client feels respected, heard, and understood. We believe that growth happens best in an environment of dignity, accountability, and genuine human connection.
