About My Clients
Having trouble navigating through life? Hitting roadblocks within different relationships? Do you have doubt about your identity and worth? I am available to provide a safe, open space in which we can work collaboratively to support you in your journey of healing. I have a background of working with youth and children dealing with depression, anxiety and the throws of life.
My Background and Approach
As we begin working with each other, we will start by working on creating a safe therapeutic relationship within the virtual space. I specialize on working with clients who have experienced complex traumas due to race, gender, sexual orientation, abuse, violence, historical events and poverty. I understand that trauma doesn't only come from a singular event but can comprise from multiple facets in an individuals life. We will work together to unpack these traumas and navigate how to develop a narrative that can help strengthen ones ability to cope and thrive. I have worked with children regarding anxiety, depression as well as the rest of the throws of a young persons life. My style is more direct but respectful & explorative.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Personally I identify as a female, Black and Filipina, heterosexual therapist. I also have a background as a former LEO as well as military veteran for almost a decade. I am deeply committed to working with BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Persons of Color), formerly incarcerated, LEO and veterans.
