You might be experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, lack of purpose in life, loneliness, family/relationship problems, anger, self-esteem issues or a combination of things.Our work together might be just as simple as finding a new perspective in life, exploration of a new interest or goal, or it might be a deeper self-exploration.I listen and work collaboratively with you, tailoring our session to your unique needs.I believe in helping people work on what’s important to them.
My Background and Approach
I believe that it is imperative to address treatment of a person as a whole, mind, body, spirit and social factors. My genuine empathy for others and desire to help them provide an environment that promotes greater openness, safety and trust, something that is essential for healing, change and growth. My area of expertise in providing counseling treatment services to families and couples surroundings a variety of issues including the following: coping with addiction and recovery, maternal mental health issues, life transition, depression, anxiety, anger, self-esteem, family problems, parenting difficulties, behavior problems with children/adolescents, relationship issues and grief/loss. I also developed skills related to behavior modification techniques. In addition, I have a diverse background and over 17 years providing counseling services to children, adolescents, couples and families.
