About My Clients
It's important to me to be ready to work with anyone - I am always excited to figure out how I can get to know and support someone new. As an LGBTQ practitioner, I'm passionate about supporting my community, and being sex-positive, kink-positive, non-monogamy-friendly, etc. I have worked with all kinds of clients and diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, BPD, psychosis, and substance use concerns. I can work with you if you are located in Illinois.
My Background and Approach
The most important elements I bring to therapy are a strong curiosity, warmth, and motivation to support you. I think it is important to view myself less as an expert and more as a collaborator. We can work together to figure out what would be most helpful to you, whether that is making changes in your life, building skills, or shifting your perspective. My goal is for you to come away from working with me less overwhelmed, and more living in accordance with who you are, what you want, and what you believe in. --- Insurances accepted: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield IL, UHC, Cigna, Oxford, Oscar. I have daytime and evening schedule slots available Monday through Thursday. My non-insurance rate is $100 per session. First session free. Currently unable to take additional clients using sliding scale payment.
