My Background and Approach
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 30 years of experience. My journey began as an Army Medic, where I gained valuable insights into both medical and psychological care. I have worked in various psychiatric hospital settings, treating a wide range of mental health conditions. My specialties include ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia, panic attacks, eating disorders, trauma, and more. I use an integrative treatment approach that combines therapy techniques such as CBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and trauma-informed care with medication management.
