About My Clients
Starting therapy is an exciting and meaningful step! I work with teens and adults in a safe, grounded space where we can explore the patterns, stories, and struggles that shape your life. Whether you're navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, or old beliefs from childhood, we'll figure things out together. I mix practical tools with space for reflection so you can start letting go of what’s no longer working, and build new ways of thinking, coping, and showing up in the world.
My Background and Approach
I work with teens and adults from all walks of life, and I care deeply about creating a space where you feel truly seen and understood. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and inner-child work, so we can find what best fits you. I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, and depression, offering both practical tools for day-to-day relief and deeper support for long-term growth. I’m committed to being culturally and socially competent, and I welcome clients of all races, backgrounds, religions, genders, and orientations. Together, we’ll look at the patterns and beliefs that might be holding you back, gently challenge them, and create new ways of thinking and developing habits that empower the best version of you. Whether you're looking for quick strategies or ready to dive into deeper healing, I’m here to walk alongside you in your journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
With nearly a decade of experience in diverse inner city schools, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people from all walks of life. This experience has shaped my understanding of diverse family systems, cultural perspectives on therapy, my awareness of the fear and stigma often associated with seeking help. I’m passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals, particularly who have felt, as I once did, that I was wrong or broken. I am an advocate for those whose voices are often marginalized in society and strive to create a safe space for all, especially for those who feel overlooked. I’m passionate about providing compassionate care to individuals, ensuring that everyone feels heard and understood. Whether navigating cultural barriers, embracing neurodiversity, or addressing societal stigma, I am committed to supporting clients in breaking through these challenges, finding empowerment in their journey, and advocating for them.
