About My Clients
Are you always trying to hold everything together for others while quietly struggling alone. Do you feel overwhelmed, unheard, or unsure how to set boundaries without guilt. I work with individuals seeking clarity, emotional balance, and healthier communication. Together, we will explore what’s beneath the stress and I will help you reconnect with your own needs, feel more confident, and develop a sense of self.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Resident in Counseling with experience supporting adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I work with clients who feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or unsure how to manage all the pressure they regularly carry. My approach is steady, supportive, and focused on helping you understand what’s driving your stress instead of just reacting to it. In session, we’ll slow things down and look at the thoughts, patterns, and emotional habits that keep you stuck. I use CBT and DBT skills, trauma-informed strategies, and practical tools you can apply outside of therapy. We’ll talk about what’s happening in your mind and body, and how to calm your system when you feel overloaded or shut down. You’ll learn ways to set clearer boundaries, communicate your needs, and manage difficult emotions with more confidence. My goal is to help you feel grounded, capable, and supported, not pressured to be “the strong one,” but able to show up as yourself with room to breathe.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people are capable of growth at any stage of their life, especially when they're given a space where they don't have to keep everything together. I value honesty, compassion, boundaries, and emotional clarity; both in therapy and in everyday relationships. I'm someone who cares deeply about helping people feel supported instead of overwhelmed or alone. I'm passionate about mental health education, community support, and creating safe spaces for people who are used to carrying a lot. Faith, resilience, and connection are important to me, and they influence the way I show up with clients - with steadiness, grace, and real understanding. I also believe therapy should be accessible, practical, and grounded in real life. If you're looking for a therapist who will walk with you, not talk at you, you'll feel at home here.
