About My Clients
I see clients in both Washington and Oregon, and work with ages 6 and older. I enjoy working with clients of all sexual orientations, and have an emphasis on supporting LGBTQ+ clients. I am passionate about working with clients navigating life transitions, identity exploration, confidence building, stress management, loss, anxiety, and depression.
My Background and Approach
My approach is grounded in Relational-Cultural Theory, which centers clients in their specific context. I believe that moving toward connection and relationships moves us toward wellness. Understanding how we are shaped by the world we live in, I keep your identity at the forefront of our work together, creating a non-judgmental and compassionate environment. My approach is client-centered, ensuring our sessions are guided by your unique needs. Together, we collaborate to address your concerns in ways that feel meaningful and effective for you! Healing does not happen in isolation. I believe the healing process must intentionally include your whole self. I look forward to being a part of your journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Living in capitalism teaches us that wellness is equivalent to independence, asking us to seek isolation rather than interdependence. I believe that we all do better when we lean towards each other. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I see the way that we each unlearn the oppressive systems we live in each day to find healing and connection. We all resist in our unique ways to find healing, and I am hear to join you on that journey.
