My background is composed of over 12 years of work in multiple areas of the helping profession from serving children and families in the foster care system to helping homeless families transition to self-sufficiency. I have provided counseling to a wide variety of clients ranging from community mental health centers, home-based, school-based, and outpatient services. In practice I utilize evidence-based intervention based on cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and family system approach. Therapy sessions are designed to dissect person issues, explore your past that may be impacting your present, release unhealthy relationship patterns, self-doubt, anger, grief, and other stressors and help you develop tools to effectively cope with these challenges.
Life can be challenging and at times overwhelming, allow me to assist you on your journey of being empowered and discovery of your most authentic self. As a therapist my primary goal is to create a safe, supportive, non-judgemental space.
